Allum-Noor interview part 3: Neamas Story

- Allum-Noor interview part 3 -
 Neamas Story

With the global demonstration on September 7, and with the convection of Norway in the Lobben case at the Human Rights Court on September 10, it feels as if there has been a minor revolution in the area covered by the Thursday letter, namely the placement of children outside the home.

It is so exciting right now that it is almost impossible to stick to one thing. But I will try that anyway. In late August, my girlfriend and I were in Oslo doing interviews with the Allum-Noor family around, Child Welfare, financial corruption, and motivational mechanisms in the placement system. In the previous two Thursday letters I have published the first two parts of the interview series. Here comes the last one. It tells Neama's story of coming from Pakistan to Norway, of being voluntarily placed by her mother due to difficult living conditions of being exploited and misdiagnosed, and of being pursued by the Child Welfare Service at the time she got children herself.
