Dance Of A Newsboy

Dance Of A Newsboy
- A short film about a newsboy who falles in love and dance a dance.

Briefly told Dance Of A Newsboy is my main project through the last two and a half year. When I got the idea I worked as delevere of free newspapers on the Copenhagen central square the city hall square. The project has now finally been completed and can be viewed as an approximately ten minute long short film on youtube. I'd love you to see it.

The two other songs in this video is:
Watermelon Slim - Hank Williams, You Wrote My Life
Tomas N'evergreen - Life Goes On
----------------------------------------------------------

When I delivered Newspapers in the streets there was this guy who used to come almost every day to get his paper. He used to stay and talk for a little while. He had some philosophies. One of them was that a man shouldn't stop and stare for a woman for more than five seconds. He should keep his dignity. I didn't bother to tell him that I indented to go completely the opposite direction than what he suggested. To be more and more honest.. to show off my feelings.. to show off my longing..

Dance of a newsboy's is about longing and insufficiency, but also about joy and love after all, or despite off all... "I can dance my longing".. "I can sing my joy.. or pain".. "What a privilege.. I am pretty privilege after all".

There are a many themes in this composition. One of them is to make a greeting to the classical ballet which I spend at long time together with. And typically for my approach the greeting to the classical ballet will be under circumstances that compromises that classical ballet. That gives it a hard time. It's outside in the dirty street and it's to country music. I didn't planed it to be that way. My approached is pretty intuitive. I just get the ideas, falls in love with it and follow it. Then as I go along I sometimes start to analyze what it is. Anyway I just wanted to mention "the-ballet-thing" in case someone would notice it or wonder about it.

Mush love and thanks for watching.
